The current mobile network schedule:
Vodafone: 3G has now been switched off. There are no plans for 2G switch off before the agreed 2033 deadline.
EE: 3G has now been switched off. 2G will be switched off at some point later this decade.
Three: 3G is being phased out in 2024, and will be switched off by the end of the year (no 2G network).
O2: 3G switch off will begin in 2025, with no immediate plans to switch off 2G before the 2033 deadline.

More than just phones
Although mobile phones have supported 4G and 5G for some time, there are many other kinds of devices which use 3G technology to transfer data as part of critical operations. These include alarm devices and payment terminals.

What action should I take?
Many organisations have yet to take relevant action. A recent survey from the Local Government Association showed that two thirds of local authorities are still reliant on devices and systems using those networks.
Businesses need to audit all devices using mobile data, not just mobile phones, and upgrade those still using 3G to avoid operational disruption.
