Evonex Connect
New Features
| Change | Description |
| [All] Re-connection if connectivity is poor or changes mid-call. | If you are on a call and the connectivity type your device is using changes, Evonex Connect will attempt to reconnect the call if network conditions allow. This results in improved performance and fewer dropped calls. |
| [All] Call recording playback from call history. | If your permissions allow, you can now play back your call recordings directly from call history. You may playback any call or leg of a call that you have been involved with. Your administrator must have assigned you ‘Call Verification’ or ‘Advanced Support’ additional access control. Regular users cannot play back their calls. |
| [Desktop/Browser] Call recording download from call history. | If your permissions allow, you may also download individual call recordings, also via call history. This is available on desktop and browser versions only. |
Enhancements
| Change | Description |
| [All] Various authentication improvements. | Improvements in efficiency around the Evonex authentication service, resulting in improved performance and fewer unexplained logouts. |
| [All] Authentication refresh token lifetime extended to 90 days. | The Evonex authentication service now issues refresh tokens with a validity period of 90 days for any Evonex Connect client. Mobile users will get a push notification on their phone at 88 and 89 days prompting them to open the app to continue receiving calls. This action will renew the refresh token for a further 90 days. |
| [iOS/Android] Ensure logout dialogue always appears if authentication is lost. | If authentication is genuinely lost, Evonex Connect will now more reliably display a dialogue message explaining what has happened. |
