WLR Price Increase

The next instalment of Openreach’s WLR Price increase arrives on the July invoices, at a whopping 40%. In a bid to keep momentum on Project Sunset, we have written to all remaining WLR and ISDN customers to remind them of the July increase and encourage them to prioritise their move to next-gen services.

What is happening?

As we approach the final switch-off date of the analogue network (January 2027), Openreach intends to increase the rental price of the impacted services throughout the course of 2026.
We notified customers on 23rd January 2026 that these price increases will be implemented via the following schedule:

  • 01/04/2026: 20% increase to all WLR and ancillary products
  • 01/07/2026: 40% increase to all WLR and ancillary products
  • 01/10/2026: 40% increase to all WLR and ancillary products

Impacted services for the price change:

  • Analogue telephone lines, Multiline and ISDN circuits
  • All ancillary services attached to the above products (e.g. Care Levels and functionality services such as Call Forwarding)
