Evonex Connect User Guide
the Evonex Connect User Guide has been updated to cover Android and all the new features recently released. You can download the user guide here.
Please find below release notes and details of features, enhancements and fixes made to the Evonex platform and Evonex Connect over the last few months.
Headset Call Control
Evonex Connect for desktop and browser now supports HID integration with Yealink, Jabra, EPOS and Poly headsets. This means that users can now remotely answer and end calls via the buttons on compatible headsets.
iOS & Android Permissions
We have improved the way in which the mobile app handles permissions. In this version, if a user has not granted the app permission to use the microphone or make phone calls, a red banner is shown at the top of the app encouraging the user to tap the banner to grant permissions and fix the issue. In line with Apple permissions guidelines, users may still interact with the app without having specifically granted these permissions.
Transfer a call direct to Voicemail
It is now possible to transfer a call directly to the voicemail of a colleague. Simply click the blind transfer button, search or scroll for the person to transfer the call to, then click the voicemail button against their name.
Reseller Only:
Method to reveal device admin password in Device Maintenance in Portal for Reseller Admins
Reseller Admins can now view the Admin passwords of the devices they manage on behalf of their customers. This password is typically used for access to the device’s Web GUI. Simply search for the device, then click the ‘Access device credentials’ button.
