Evonex Connect
New Features
| Change | Description |
| [All] Re-connection if connectivity is poor or changes mid-call. | If you are on a call and the connectivity type your device is using changes, Evonex Connect will attempt to reconnect the call if network conditions allow. This results in improved performance and fewer dropped calls. |
| [All] Call recording playback from call history. | If your permissions allow, you can now play back your call recordings directly from call history. You may playback any call or leg of a call that you have been involved with. Your administrator must have assigned you ‘Call Verification’ or ‘Advanced Support’ additional access control. Regular users cannot play back their calls. |
| [Desktop/Browser] Call recording download from call history. | If your permissions allow, you may also download individual call recordings, also via call history. This is available on desktop and browser versions only. |
Enhancements
| Change | Description |
| [All] Various authentication improvements. | Improvements in efficiency around the Evonex authentication service, resulting in improved performance and fewer unexplained logouts. |
| [All] Authentication refresh token lifetime extended to 90 days. | The Evonex authentication service now issues refresh tokens with a validity period of 90 days for any Evonex Connect client. Mobile users will get a push notification on their phone at 88 and 89 days prompting them to open the app to continue receiving calls. This action will renew the refresh token for a further 90 days. |
| [iOS/Android] Ensure logout dialogue always appears if authentication is lost. | If authentication is genuinely lost, Evonex Connect will now more reliably display a dialogue message explaining what has happened. |
Bug Fixes
| Change | Description |
| [Android] No audio on Android if call was answered from push banner. | Fix an issue on Android where a call would have no audio if it was answered from the push notification banner. |
| [All] Ensure calls from anon number via AA are recorded as via AA in call history. | Fix the display of calls that have routed via AA from a withheld number |
| [All] Ensure call history entries show ‘via’ detail based on how call has routed to you. | Fix the ‘via’ display if a call has routed through a hunt group for example |
| [Desktop] ‘No microphone’ banner now cedes priority to ‘Update available’ banner. | Ensure that the ‘You have no microphone’ banner does not appear over the ‘Update available’ banner. |
| [All] Ensure call history is accurate when making multiple outgoing calls. | Fix minor issues observed by some customers relating to call history. |
| [All] Ensure Call Waiting dialogues function as expected. | Fix a minor issue with call waiting in certain circumstances |

Enhancements
| Change | Description |
| Include Virtual numbers in MOH phones list and MOH Group membership in UI | Allow a MoH track to be selected for a virtual number. If a call routes via this number and is put on hold by a user, the MoH track for the virtual number will be played to the caller rather than the MoH track for the user’s phone. |
Bug Fixes
| Change | Description |
| Improve efficiency of CSV upload of contacts to Personal Address Book only | Ensure the process is more efficient and quicker, putting less pressure on critical back end services. |
| Need to reset ring profile when a phone is moved between users or re-ordered | Fix an issue where a CLI’s ring profiles could be migrated between users if the CLI is moved to another user. |
| [Insights] Improvements to number formatting on two exported reports | Fix time based columns in PDF and CSV exports of ‘Incoming external call activity by DDI’ and ‘Outgoing external call activity by DDI’ reports to be in the hh:mm:ss format. |
| [Insights] Improvements to the accuracy of the DND report | Fix the DND report to show more accurate average and total time in DND. Also improve the description of the report to include limitations. |

Enhancements
| Change | Description |
| Authentication refresh token lifetime increased from 14 to 90 days | The Evonex authentication service now issues refresh tokens with a validity period of 90 days for any Evonex Connect client. Mobile users will get a push notification on their phone at 88 and 89 days prompting them to open the app to continue receiving calls. | Improved handling of traffic from customer connections that have IPv6-only routing | Recently, we’ve seen an increase in traffic hitting the platform from connections that are using IPv6-only addressing, particularly from cellular providers.
